My review First of all, we have been here twice before and it was great the food and service. However, I took my friend here yesterday for her birthday. We had $42.00/ppThe Queen’s Tea – Only For The Most Royal. It was very disappointing. The salad was cut up butternut squash pieces with feta cheese in a sort of quiche based bottom, with a very small leaf of lettuce on side and a cherry tomato cut in half. Neither of us were impressed. I don't like squash nor feta cheese. I ate the one small lettuce leaf and small cherry tomato. I did ask the waitress for a small side salad instead but not accommodating. Then we get the tower which has 3 tiers. The bottom tier had thinly sliced cucumbers sitting on cream cheese on one piece of cut bread open faced. The second sandwich was egg salad served in a miniature croissant. It was okay but not cold. Like it had been sitting out for out at least 30 minutes. The third sandwich was a chicken salad mixture served in a miniature bun. It was okay. However, the mad hatter advertises dainty finger sandwiches. It is definitely NOT! Go to the tea room in Mississauga and you will see the difference in sandwich approaches. On the first tier, it also had some grapes and small cracker that had cream cheese topped with red pepper jelly. The second tier was the scone with jam, butter and devon cream. It was okay. The third tier was your mini desserts. The mini desserts were store bought and very sweet. It also included a piece of wrapped ferroro chocolate. As a side note, a woman sitting at a nearby table did not enjoy the high tea experience either. Her friend brought her for the first time for her birthday. She was not impressed with the food. I regret taking my friend here instead of mississauga for her birthday.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cute little tea shop! It was Alice in Wonderland theme and all the decor was so thoughtful. The staff were wonderful! The afternoon tea menu and tea were delicious. Only feedback was the mac and cheese needed a bit more salt and some of the sandwiches were just okay but overall it was great and the price was so reasonable. Thank you for hosting us!

My Mother and I enjoyed a fabulous High Tea as part of her 95th birthday celebration. We didn't have a reservation but were lucky enough to welcomed. Sandwiches, scones and sweets were amazing and the selection included a mini Mac and cheese - a unique and very Canadian twist. We were able to take away what we didn't finish. Thank you to Maddie and her friendly staff for helping to make my amazing Mom's birthday so memorable.

Visited the other day and had a great time. I got their high tea and it was amazing. Delicious sandwiches, scones and mini deserts. The inside of the store is very nicely decorated. Will definitely visit again!

While I am sure that the tea experience itself is delightful, we had a very negative experience trying to book an afternoon tea for our daughter's birthday. When we called. we advised that we are vegetarian. An employee in the background said, "I'm so sick of this, we don't do substitutions!" Overall, booking our appointment was not pleasant. We have cancelled, and we will go somewhere where we are treated with a bit more respect. It's our money, and we would rather spend it at a more professional space. The owners should consider addressing this. But then again, they probably won't read this review and may not care.

My Sister Mum and I came here for a belated Mother’s Day celebration. We had High Tea, it was nice, but the quality of food vs the price paid was uneven. One thing that stuck out was the portions for the clotted cream and jam, one tiny ramekin of each was not nearly enough for the size of the 3 scones, and our server was nowhere to be seen to ask for more, to be honest it was not clotted cream but whipped cream (35%) we were given. The tiramisu was a bust, it tasted like it was made with too much instant coffee and Hershey's chocolate syrup. The sandwiches were lovely and so was the Prosecco and Darjeeling tea, so tasty in fact that we had it black. I would recommend a small menu detailing the items on the trays so customers can refer to it, it can be quite difficult to hear and remember what each item is especially when it’s busy in the tea room. I would come back here!!

The scones and soup were delicious and the shop is very nicely decorated! The service was a bit slow and we were a little disappointed that a few of the menu items were not available, however I still think that this place is well worth a visit!
